If you read DC comics, you're going to want to pay attention to this, even if you aren't into big events. Of course, if you are into the big events, there's also a lot for you here as well.

In September, following the end of their Trinity War storyline, DC is launching Forever Evil, a 7-issue mini-series by Geoff Johns and David Finch, focusing on a number of DC's iconic supervillains.

To further celebrate DC's classic villains, that month's regular titles will ALL be pre-empted and taken over by the DC villains. So, for example, instead of getting Green Arrow #24, which would have been published that month, you'll be getting Green Arrow #23.1, with the logo crossed out and Count Vertigo's name written over the top, so it looks like Count Vertigo #1.

Arrow Some ongoing titles won't have an issue come out in September, like Animal Man, Batgirl, and Suicide Squad. That doesn't necessarily mean anything is cancelled. They are just on hiatus for a month, and should be back to normal in October.

Arrow Many of the titles that are still coming out in September are coming out more than once. Action Comics, for example, has not just an issue #23.1, but also a 23.2, a 23.3, and a 23.4.

We made up a great checklist, featuring all the known titles and as much information as was currently available concering writers and artists. We'd love it if interested buyers could fill out this checklist, letting us know which titles we need to get more of. If you really, really want that Harley Quinn issue of Detective Comics, we can't really guarantee we'll have enough on the shelves unless people let us know what they want.

Feel free to print this out and fill it in, or get a physical copy from us, or make your own list. Also, scroll down for a few more pics.

I have been coming to the shop since about new year (or a bit earlier,) after I moved to Spokane, but I am new to the forum. When you guys ask this sort of question here, is it best to email the shops e-address that John checks, or just answer here? I know you have a lot of customers, so I suppose you might get a lot of emails, but I do not know if answering here makes it easier or harder.

Anyway, the ones I am interested in are below.

_X_Wonder Woman #23.1 (Cheetah #1) – Ostrander/Ibanez
_X_Wonder Woman #23.2 (First Born #1) – Azzarello/Cal

Now, you said all the titles have villains... what about 'Batgirl,' or what may become 'Batman & Batgirl?' That is the other DC title I get (and I might start getting 'Constantine,' which is also not on your full list above)... so I am wondering if that is cancelled, or now bimonthly, or if you just estimate you will have enough issues... I suppose it is one of these things, or the Batgirl book will only have one cover, and I have it on my pull list anyway....

'Faces of evil' has always been an interesting thing, but on the other hand, I would like to see DC do yearly very iconic covers of the heroes... like the rare 'Wonder Woman' ones where she is standing there with a pile of Greek weapons, and an owl or eagle, and Superman with the flag and/or an eagle, Batman & Robin swinging from a building, maybe with bats, etc.

Whoops! Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this question. Our forums aren't particularly active, so I get in the habit of assuming no one is using them for questions and forgot to come look.

To answer your question, DC is actually making September a skip month for a number of titles, including Batgirl and Constantine. Those comics won't have a September issue, but that doesn't mean they are being cancelled.

The Batman & Robin title, which has been called Batman & Red Robin, Batman & Red Hood, and Batman & Batgirl in recent months, will have villain issues, as indicated above. Those are the ones that will feature Two-Face, the Court of Owls, Ra's al Ghul, and Killer Croc.

I hope that helped (assuming you hadn't already had your question answered elsewhere).
