Great, I got it. I will add them to the lineup at Syracuse. We still however do not have clear victory objectives for the campaign, any ideas?

What were the real objectives, I am no expert on the Siciliy invasion.
I am just beginning to do research on my Bersags and I am starting in EW and working my way forward.

Well the allies want to take the whole island, ports in particular.
Axis wants to keep the island, or in the event of a lost island they must retreat all forces off the island via Messina

Well for allies it could be a minor victory if they take the ports, and could be a majoir victory if they controll more than 50 or 60 percent of the island. They can have a certain amount of time to complete these objectives.

Allies Major Victory would be to control all the ports and airfields while cutting off the retreat from Messina. Minor Victory is to capture the entire island.
Axis Major Victory would be to stop the Allies, Minor victory would be to be able to evacuate 75% of their forces before losing the island.
Now besides overall victory conditions, there needs to be something involved for each turn so that it is important for both sides to do their best. Campaigns generally fall apart after one side or the other decides they can no longer win.
As I will be playing Italians and Germans that is not going to happen on our side. We will fight tooth and nail for the entire Island. From the beaches to the vinyards and orchards to the Mountain passes. Every town a fortress every ridge a palisade.
The Med will run red with the blood of the Invaders.
Now to find me some Semovente 90's.

I am an Axis player too. Because of the unjust Allied demands of total surrender no peace agreement can be reached. There is no option for us other than total victory, even now the Allies are devestating our cities in air raids. There will be no home and no Germany if they win. Every man will fight to his last breathe.
The problem now is to find Allied players that will refuse to surrender.

If bill dident mind I could use some of his forces so the games could run smoothly. I am starting a british or american force (probably british airborne). I know I would be betraying the fatherland but the allies need some of their might that their supposed to have. I cant find the link to the rules! I clicked on it on the first page and it says there is nothing there.

The objective was to "take Sicily" Alexander had no plan of action when the US 7th and British 8th landed....he basically gave tacit approval for the taking of the island while the only "objective" given was to take airfields for the RAF...learned that in "Patton: A Genius For War"

There is plenty of room for everyone. You are also not required to play on any particular side or any particular army.

Dungeon Master,
If you would like to join in with my Americans, I would be more than happy to help out. You have your choice of either Armor or Infantry. I do not have Airborne at the moment, but that might change soon.

DM,
I have the units, lets field them. I have no problems with people using my Americans. It allows me to see other ways of utilizing their strenghts when someone else plays them. In short, Mi Casa, Su Casa!
