My last group is starting to break up so i figured it was time to start looking for a new group to game with.

I have played many systems and styles of games over the years but those that are near and dear to my heart are:
Amber Diceless(if you have a group, or know of a group, PLEASE please please please let me know, I would love to get back to playing this as it has been too long)
DnD, 3.0 and 3.5 only, some 2nd ed, NO 4th ed
BESM
Rifts, sort of, never really got big into it as it always seemed to be about making a power character and not so much story...
GURPS, its ok, with a good gm i could get back into it
D20 stuff, covers just about everything else out there.

I am willing to try other games, and generally pick up on them fast if I haven't played them before.

My only needs are first and biggest, the game cannot be in a smoking environment, and second transportation for me is iffy(bus and carpooling). I am more then willing to bring food stuffs and snacks and such in trade for getting a ride to/from or if that happens to be the norm for the group.

You can contact me at thechaosninja (at) hotmail.com anytime.

I also am looking for a group to game with. I have some experience with D&D and Exalted, I am interested in playing anything. I can be contacted at jak_karde @ hotmail.com.

I admit, it's been a good while since I rolled dice in anger, and I've been thinking of getting back into gaming. Been toying with a couple play-by-post games for about a year now, but those are hardly the same thing (and man, are they slow going). While my resume of gaming doesn't include a ton of different RPGs, I do know my stuff.

The games I'm conversant in are:
Hero System 5th ed (mainly Champions; my 6th edition books are on perpetual back-order given how rare they're getting, but one day they may ship; I can go back to the 4th ed books too if need be, maybe the old 2nd ed.)
Rifts (and no, its not all about making the most powerful character for me, though some have had that aspect; been playing Rifts off and on since its introduction in 1990)
D&D 4th ed, 3rd ed, and 2nd ed with or without the Options & Powers book (like many others, D&D was my first RPG; AD&D to be specific, if that's any indicator to you of my age, and thus suitability to a particular group)

Though I've played other games like Battle Tech, TMNT&OS, and a few others I'm spacing just now, those are the ones I know quite well and played for real. That isn't to say I'm incapable of learning a new system. I have some GM/DM experience, but frankly I was only so-so in that role.

As a player there are only a few things a prospective group may wish to consider if thinking of contacting me.
(1) Stairs are not my friend. I can do a few, but entire flights are tough for me.
(2) I'm not an old man, but it's been a while since high-school too.
(3) I am not a smoker, but if members of the group are, that's cool by me. The same goes for "smokers" too, though not the hard stuff.
(4) I have a car. It's an old POS that's one bad pot-hole away form the junkyard, but it runs.
(5) Tax season is coming up and I have no clue what my work hours will be like in the next few months. I expect to have open weekends and evenings, but who knows. Could go the other way and I end up burned with too much time on my hands.
(6) I am, and ever shall be, a Trekkie (and I know the difference between a Trekkie and a Trekker).
(7) I have a high IQ and a dirty sense of humor of the Dennis Miller school of thought.

If if you have any questions, send me a PM here. I'll be around. Smile

My girlfriend and I are also looking for a game.

Our ideal game would have all of the following features:

1) Has experienced players who prefer roleplaying to adventure gaming.
2) Has an experienced GM capable of creating a rich, immersive setting.
3) Meets weekly with few interruptions in the gaming schedule.
4) Uses a dice system that compliments the gameplay rather than detracting from it.
5) Gaming group is comprised of non-smokers.

Sorry, but we are not interested in the following games: Dungeons & Dragons, Rifts, World of Darkness, Star Wars, or anything GURPS.

We would be especially interested in any of the following: Warhammer Fantasy, Serenity/Firefly, Adventure!/Aberrant/Trinity.

If you're interested in adding a pair of roleplayers to your group, send me an email at VictorTyne at gmail dot com.

Everybody on this page should get ahold of me so I can start setting up a Deadlands campaign. It's similar to the Serenity system and easy to learn. I'm an old school gamer who started with 2nd ed and I have been gming for some time now.
