Seems we at Merlyns are making Top Ten lists for our favorite comics so here's mine.
Now, I will warn you, I like fun in my comics. It doesn't have to be wacky or funny and yes, every now and then I'll read a East of West or Vertigo comic to break things up, but I was an old school DC fan who loved Justice League International and Hitman.
That said, here's my list:

I've already peeked at the upcoming series (due tomorrow as of this writing) and I like it.
The art is fun and it has Agent Coulson from Agents of Shield, what more could I want?

Nova is pure fun in every sense of the word. It reads like a movie. It's Goonies, Super 8 and Last Starfighter all rolled up in one.
I can't say enough great things about this comic.
It follows the story of a boy who has always heard about his fathers "stories" of being in outer space, then one, he finds they were all true.
Now his fathers helmet has chosen him as a successor and he must help fight evil in space while trying to face bullies at school.
It's two worlds, both making him grow up faster than he might want.

This book is highly weird. It starts off with a burn out in a small town who suddenly thinks he sees aliens walking around the town.
No one wants to believe him, thinking he's just high again, but once he gets attacked by one, it launches him into a world he still has trouble believing.

Welcome to Marvel's version of Catwoman, only better, Widow lives alone and likes it that way. She's keeping a part of her life quiet and separate from the Avengers with good reason as she is still taking assassination jobs for money, but only to pay back debts from her past.
Art and story are great also.

If you're a fan of Venture Brothers or Archer, you 'll love this title. It follows a small group of villains and their day to day life, trying to get rich.
Much like title Hawkeye, this isn't a planet busting, knock 'em out title.
It's just a fun "day in the life" that you'll love.

Gonna go old school on ya, here. This title has been a real blast form the past. The writing and art of been fantastic and it really has the feel of the old show.
You may be able to catch the miniseries "Starbuck" as well. It just started.

Yep, I'm old, so here's another.
This is basically a new season of the show and has really kept the ominous feel. I'd appreciate better art, but the storyline has kept me going more than anything.

I know a lot of people who are turned off by the cartoony art style, but if you get past it, it's just a another great book that you'll get excited about.
Now granted, you should probably be a fan of the show, but even then, new characters have been established to freshen it up and it's been a real roller coaster of fun lately.

You want fun? How about drinking, fighting and well....fighting! Don't get me wrong, the first storyline had a creature who could kill Gods, so saving the universe is serious business as well.
This book reads much like the movies, so if you're a fan, I'd pick these up!

I'll admit, I only started picking this up from rumors of the movies. BUT, one of the first comics I ever read was the 4 issue mini-series of Rocket Raccoon.
This has been a pretty solid group comic. The personalities fit well and the occasional special guest like Iron Man help it out.
I highly suggest starting at the Kevin Macguire issue for the art alone.

Listen and read the 1940's adventures of Martin's Raiders

Watch The HANGAR BAY SHOW - It's not the nerd-cast you deserve, it's the one you need!
