Archaia Entertainment, the excellent independent comics publisher that has brought us great, interesting comics like Mouse Guard, Days Missing, The Dapper Men, and Mr. Murder is Dead is now offering a variety of new products based on the works of America's premier puppeteer Jim Henson.

Arrow Jim Henson's Tale of Sand
Here at the store right now is a very cool hardcover adaptation of an unfilmed screenplay written by Jim Henson back in the late 1960s. It is an extremely surreal quasi-narrative featuring one man's adventures in the American Southwest. It is bizarre and unlike anything I would have ever associated with the name Jim Henson. Any reader, though, will be able to appreciate the art of Ramon Perez, whether you've heard of him before or not.

In addition to what is currently in the store, there are a number of other projects coming in the near future.

Arrow Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal
Set in the world of the classic Dark Crystal movie, this story, masterminded by movie concept designer Brian Froud is the first in a three-part story that functions as a prequel to the movie.

Arrow Jim Henson's The Storyteller
Based on the short-lived HBO TV series from the late 1980s, this comics anthology features the work of comics creators like Roger Langridge, Jeff Parker, Tom Fowler, Marjorie Liu, Paul Tobin, Ron Marz, and many others.

Arrow Fraggle Rock
This much-loved counter-culture kids puppet show is getting another shot at its own comic. How can you not love these guys?
