Any chance we can move this to Saturday the 9th or the weekend before (9/2-9/3)?
So I wonder who will show up for this...Uziel, R166, me (if the date is changed)...Anyone else?
Will there be official Privateer Press Prizes?

So I went ahead and changed the date to Saturday the 9th @ 1pm.
Official Prizes have not been offered and I don't beleive that anyone local is a Pressganger??
If someone can get official support that would be great!

Points? I might attend if its in the 350-500 points range. I've got a starter box I'm putting together and can probably come up with the remainder of the 500 before the 9th.

I'd suggest 500pts and Steamroller V2 rules (found on the PP site). Will appearance/painted be an issue?

Thanks for changing the date! 500 Points, Steamroller 2.0 sounds good.
I say no painting requirement, but maybe give a prize to best painted army?
So far we have me, r166, Uziel, and Winterman. Anybody else? It would be great if we could get at least 8 to play.

LOL. Never played
Should I probably get a game in before the 9th? (j/k)
I just got the khador and cryx box sets (currently unassembled). I'll probably be playing khador at the tournament because its alot cheaper to get a competative 500 point army. Keep in mind though, I'm a maybe for this tourny but hope to get involved in future ones.

It would be great if you could play Cryx because Uziel plays Khador, r166 plays Cygnar, and I play Menoth. If you fielded Cryx, then we'll have all 4 factions represented! But Khador is fine too. Let me know if you want to get in a game before tournament time to practice.
If you're worried about getting to 500, I wonder if we should drop down the point level to 400. Maybe it will encourage other people to pick up the game.
So what do you all think? 400 points instead? That would be a starter box + 1 or 2 units/jacks depending on faction played.

Naw don't drop the points for me. I'll either get to 500 by the 9th or I won't play.
And its funny you mention cryx as I'm more interested in playing them anyway. I think I'll build them first instead of Khador.

Go with Cryx! So here are the potential players:
Winterman - Cryx
Uziel - Khador
Uziel's friend - Cygnar
r166 - Cygnar
dvg12 - Menoth
taybai333 - Khador or Menoth
Anyone else?

Anyone mind if I post the tournament announcement on the Privateer Press Boards to drum up more interest? Maybe we can get gamers from around the area to participate.

Any idea on the final format - how many games? How long are each match up?
I've got family deciding to come into town that weekend. If the tourney doesn't last too long I'd still be able to make it. But if it's like 6 games and each one being an hour or something then you'll have to count me out.
