Sure,

In version 1 or the rules, a tank has to make a bogging test during assaults only if it moves into rough terrain or assaults into rough terrain on the first round it does this.

In version 2, a tank must make a bog check before assaulting or counterassaulting even if it does not move. If the tank or its target are in difficult terrain or if the target is behind a linear object(wall, hedge, bocage) the tank must make a bog check each round of the assault before rolling a skill test to hit.

This is a huge change to the rules and makes tanks assaulting infantry that are in difficult or very difficult terrain a huge gamble for the tanks.

Remember, we never use very difficult terrain when we play, yet it should be on every map.

Any woods bigger than 6"x6" should be considered forest and very difficult. Every hill slope should be considered difficult and every hill, since the hills we have modeled are merely flat, but real hills are not.

Currently we probably play our maps to light on difficult and very difficult terrain and that is why the tournaments won around here are almost always won by tank armies.
