"Calling Buck Rogers! Come in Buck Rogers!"

Who hasn't at least once sat around on a lazy saturday or sunday and found some old pulp Sci-fi show on, reminiscing about the good 'ol days.
Cosmic Patrol is a pen & paper roleplaying game set in the retro-future of the 1940s-50s.

"I'm just glad I brought my Tuba-Gun!"

Cosmic Patrol is a narrative, cinematic game that’s easy to learn and can be played with little preparation. Players not only control their characters, but build the plot and fill in the details as they go.

"Hang on. I just have to check my Facebook."

One of the great things about COSMIC PATROL is that there's no ONE person controlling the adventure. Everyone gets a turn. The first LN or Lead Narrator, sets his part of the story, then passes it on to the next player.

"My gosh, Gloria! They DID remake The Karate Kid!"

You use PLOT POINTS to help your character or sway the story one way of the other.
Another great thing about it is, it's such a small book. Easy to carry around. No need to carry your laptop full of stats or 18 core books. This simple novel sized book is just awesome.

"Ya, poor you. At least you don't have to wear this helmet. The last guy had lice."

COSMIC PATROL also has plenty of character sheets inside to get you started, which again, are very simple one sheet pages. This is a perfect gift for someone who loves the genre and is slightly new to RPGing.
It comes with a ready made story, introductions and "mission briefs".

So put on that giant fish bowl helmet, put Zathura on in the background and go get 'em, Space Cowboy!!

Here's some great retro photos for ideas:

And of course, the main website.
