Hey all! We recently got in some great used games, including a number of 2nd edition boxed sets that we thought you might like to see.






In addition to those Forgotten Realms boxed sets, you'll also notice some non-D&D related goodies.

Arrow Merc
This gem is promoted as "A modern role-playing game of counter insurgency." Of course, when they say "modern," they mean 30 years ago, when this game first came out. Still, a glance inside shows there was a lot of attention paid to how this game was put together. The deceptively thin book is packed with details like Distance Grid 3: Time Frames Required to Travel Over Distance, a Mortar Fire grid, the Booby Trap Casualty Table, and a sheet with a generic body figure accompanied by a sniper scope clear overlay that tells me the players of this game will be people to take very seriously.

Arrow Dark World
This Mattel board game from 1992 has a couple of interesting features. It simulates a classic dungeon crawl like a number of other popular board games out these days. Not all of those, though, have 3D walls that rise from the board itself. The final piece that makes Dark World totally unique, though, is the very interesting player pieces. On their base is a little window through which you can see a number printed on cardboard. If you twist the base, the numbers change. If this sounds familiar, I bet you've played a Wizkids clix game before. These Dark World figures appear to be the secret ancestors of Mage Knight and all the clix games that came after.
