The staff at Merlyn's have been called immature, sure, but we need to be, so we can make sure we know what kids like.

We always make sure we have something for the "next generation" of customers. You know, after they've grown up, moved out, got married and never call you even that they know you're home but they still don't call and they know you're not busy but that doesn't matter even though you raised them up and sacRIFICED EVERY WAKING MOMENT TO GIVE THEM THE THINGS THEY WANT AND THEY.....

Uh........where was I?

Oh, ya.

Kids.

So anyway, bring the kids by and see some of the things we make sure are in stock.

First up, for the wee ones is the OWLY series.

Owly is a kind-hearted little owl who knows what it means to be human. Relying on a mixture of symbols and expressions, these animated and heartwarming tales are a perfect read for all ages!

Then, we have the Amulet series.

After the tragic death of their father, Emily and Navin move with their mother to the home of her deceased great-grandfather, but the strange house proves to be dangerous. Before long, a sinister creature lures the kids' mom through a door in the basement. Em and Navin, desperate not to lose her, follow her into an underground world inhabited by demons, robots, and talking animals.

Eventually, they enlist the help of a small mechanical rabbit named Miskit. Together with Miskit, they face the most terrifying monster of all, and Em finally has the chance to save someone she loves.

We also love the Amelia Rules! books.

Amelia Rules! follows the life of Amelia Louise McBride as she adjusts to life in a new town after her parents' divorce causes her to leave life in Manhattan. She is helped along the way by an odd group of friends and her ever-cool Aunt Tanner Clark.

The book has been nominated for 11 Eisner Awards as well as five Harvey Awards.

We also have puppets, Lego games, The TIN TIN series and lots more.

We've also made a big effort to keep in family games and games just for kids, so come on down and take a peek.
