While I'm here I might mention that I'm a newbie GM at Shadowrun 3rd edition (Still learning 4th) and I'd be thrilled if I could get together a casual group to meet about once a week or so. I was thinking about running Food Fight â„¢ either this Friday or Saturday evening if anyone was up for it. Drop me a post!

I think I've got a pretty good grasp on 4th edition now, just need to find a group to test out my abilitys on. If anyone's up for it, just drop me a post.
I'm just itching to hear those mono-whips swinging.

If anyone ever gets the chance, I heartily reccomend picking up the System Failure sourcebook. It is invaluable for a smooth transition from 3rd to 4th edition, and is a damn fine read on its own.
The whole wireless net idea is awesome (though why any self-respecting shadowrunner would leave his cyber open to hacking is beyond me), Novatech uses a freaking Thor Shot to take out ONE guy, and Winternight is scary as hell.
On the same note, does anyone have the Threats sourcebook with Winternight? I have to find out more about these guys.

Cool, two possible players. Do you guys have any preferences over what editions we play in?
Third is the only one I've had any real (albeit limited) experience running, but fourth is definitly do-able. Heck, I even have some quick start rules if you want to do that. Unfortunatly I didn't get into the game before 3rd edition came out so I'm not very familiar at all with earlier rules.
Hit me back with what kinda game you're looking for.

Don't know much about 2nd ed. either. Pretty comfortable with 3rd, although a little rusty. Willing to try fouth ed. (it can only get better, right?).

Hmm, let's stick with 3rd for the time being, then moving up to 4th when we get past System Failure.
You guys have a prefence over the game type? Tech heavy, action packed, high magic, or a little bit of everything? And, if you've thought that far ahead, tell me what kind of characters you had in mind.
As far as available gaming time, I have March 3rd and 4th off so anytime on those days would be good for me.

Haven't played for a while, but i'll find my books and put something together for the 4th, as I work till 11pm on the 3rd.
So after work on the 4th, after 5pm would be great.

Well, looks like we'll have three players: Fuzzy, Zoroth, and my girlfriend (Don't worry, she's played before. )
Fuzzy, do you have a character concept? No rush, but if you have something drawn up, send it my way to Billy52783 @ aol.com and I'll give you some comments on it.
