Yes, this is just a slight riff on the Infinity Gauntlet Month 6 set-up. I had so many positive feedback on what fun the tournament was and how much fun people had putting together teams that I wanted everybody to have a chance to try out the team ideas that never got off the bench.

Entry Fee: Zero
Infinity Gauntlet pieces and prizes are allowed (although they'll be tough to fit on theme teams at this build total.)
Yes, I know this is only one week after our 300 point game scheduled on June 28th, instead of the normal two-week gap. We wanted to switch it up a bit to give us a little wiggle room for the next IG event.

Infinity Gauntlet Month 7 - the Penultimate Event, in the shadow of Thanos, playing for the ultimate player, the Grandmaster!
300 point Sealed. Teams must be made from two boosters of Chaos War, to be purchased that night.
Entry Fee: purchase of two boosters of Chaos War (approx. $24)
Please note the start time is listed as 5:30 pm instead of the typical 6:00 pm start time. The extra half-hour is intended for team-building so that the actual play can start as close to 6 as possible.
All participants, up to a maximum of 20 players, will receive a Mind Gem 3D object.
The Map for the event, the Mental Plane, will be the same for all events.
1st and 2nd place winners will be awarded the Grandmaster LE figure. A third Grandmaster figure will be randomly awarded as a Fellowship prize. The random roll will exclude that night's winners as well as those who have previously won Fellowship in Merlyn's Infinity Gauntlet events.
This will be the final qualifying event run at Merlyn's for the Infinity Gauntlet Month 8 event. Only those who have earned at least 12 points at Merlyn's IG events can play in the Month 8 event for the giant Thanos figure. More on that next month...
