Just got a e-mail from a guy down south who I sent Delaying action too. They played it several times this week and found it the most challenging mission so far for FOW. Unlike so many missions where you can throw out your forces in deployment and if you make a mistake, you use turn 1 and 2 correcting the defect. In delaying action if you havn't thought through the force you are playing and how you will retire until reserves arrive, you don't have several turns to correct it. Like they said, this mission reflects very well what the germans faced on the eastern front. Out numbered, they ran a thin defensive line backed up by fire brigades that rushed forward to close breaches in the lines. They didn't have the man power to have continuous lines of defense. Steve T. the creator of the mission is asking for any feed back from any one after they have tried it.
